Back from an amazing outing and cuddle session with my honey!
Baby and I and our very nice friend Jen went down to the korean area and walked around. We ended up in this korean clothing store, where, I found the cutest sailor girl type outfit but I couldn't wear it because it didn't fit in the chest area.

Major unhappineeeessss grrr. I mean, I don't exactly wish to be flat just, you know, I don't want two watermelons strapped to my chest.

Not to mention the fact that the lady at the cash wasn't even korean, she was chinese. And honestly they overprice everything in those stores.. although I really like the clothes, until I get a job I'm stuck just admiring and placing them back onto the rack -3-

I also need to make a note to myelf to look up a japanese facial cleanser brand which I saw at H-Mart。It was actually pretty cheap and it looked good. It was naive, I believe. So I'll take a look at some reviews.

Anyways, I want to share with you all some of my favorite beauty youtube channels! I'm usually on youtube browsing tutorials on makeup and hair and just health in general. I'll also list some of the ones that I don't particularily like and some reasons for why these channels don't make the cut.

BEAUTYQQ - She is just amazing and full of life and happiness. Her beauty tips are really useful and her makeup is fairly easy. She's also very good at explaining steps and adding humour to a video, and I really like her music choice. She's sincere and she makes videos from the heart. I can't wait to see her new videos everytime she posts one and I like to rewatch older ones when she doesn't!

MSZJACKIECHU- I watched one of her videos while looking for health tips on youtube and I really liked the fact that she is real and personable and just gives really good advice. She's not stuck up and she is really easy to relate to in terms of her life and her views on life.

LUVABLEVIET- I just really love watching her closet tours and her outfit videos. She also makes health videos but I sometimes find that her advice isn't that great or healthy. I really like her sense of style, although some of her outfits are a bit showy, but she has a very toned body which she's worked really hard for, so she deserves to show it off a little.

XIAXUE- I find her really funny and opinionated, and I like how although she is sponsored by some companies, she gives honest reviews about services and warms you when she does any kind of advertorial. She's really up front and doesn't mind answering tough question.

OISEAU88- I found her by accident while watching another korean guru's videos, and although I really like her, I find that as soon as she got sponsored most of her videos revolve around that. I was really conflicted about adding her to this list, but I really think she is a good person overall.

BUBZBEAUTY - Not my favorite, but much better than Michelle Phan in terms of relatability. I find she's really heartfelt and understanding, and her video topics are really interesting. I don't know why but there is just something about her that really prevents me from fully liking her, probably her grammar sometimes.

ILIKEWEYLIE- She's really funny and spunky. She makes videos about things other people wouldn't talk about and give great advice. She's really nice and doesn't mind answering questions. I really like her and I think that people relate to her very well.

Not so loveable..

VENUSANGELIC- Although I admire her for learning so many different languages, I think that her voice is quite fake and her explanations for why she does things and what she chooses to use in terms of ingredients in some of her videos are vague. In one video she mentions keeping a curling iron in your hair for 2 minutes or so... which is crazy! Her bleached blonde hair makes her look really old and makes her hair look really damaged and thin. I didn't really mind her when she was just starting out, but at this point I think her videos follow the same pattern. Put on heavy makeup, apply glittery things, pose, done.

KOTAKOTI- Her appearance changes throughout her tutorials, and her tutorials are fairly basic to begin with. In one video, she curls her hair, and places a portion of it in a side ponytail. There is also a video on how to make ponytails. Rather basic, and also boring because she never moves too much in her videos. Minus that, I do like her outfit videos, although I think she poses in them for a little too long. I like her fashion sense.

JUICYSTAR07- I find her voice to be suuper fast and I think that she goes off topic quite a lot. Although I like some of her videos, like her cooking video, I find that sometimes she comes off as being fake and kind of ditzy. I don't really bother to watch her videos anymore because I find that most of the time they are very long and she goes off topic and talks about other things for half of the video. I also find that she's extremely colourful and just.. not my style.
