I haven`t posted something in a while, huh...
I actually miss having some kind of journal to write in. My days typically aren`t very exciting- but I`d like to think my opinions might be.
I`m working on my english homework right now. I especially dislike poetry in english for some reason or other.. I can`t seem to be happy with my assignment. I`m listening to 二人の気持ち from the Inuyasha OST, and it's so calming..
I didn't do much today. Although I feel less heavier, I'm not actually sure if I'm losing any weight. Anyways, here is what I ate today!
Oatmeal with 1 square of chocolate
Rice with beef and mushrooms
2 squares of chocolate
1 mango
Strawberries
2 more squares of chocolate
I heard having a light dinner is better since your body needs time to digest the food you eat, so I've been trying to have a heavier lunch/breakfast rather than dinner. I noticed that I usually get hungry between 12:00pm-4:00pm and after that I don't feel hungry, so eating heavier meals during that time will help me from overeating.
Not to mention eating a lot of protein makes you full, so in general meats and eggs are really good.. except I don't particularly like eggs. Unless you add something yummy to it like bacon or cheese or something.
Yesterday~
Yesterday I was supposed to go to a friend's birthday party, however it was rather late and short notice so I couldn't attend.. Instead I suggested her coming over on Sunday to make up for it, unfortunately that didn't happen because she had to say goodbye to her brother.
I went to a really yummy restaurant with Justin yesterday though! The food is really good- the service? Not so much... Nakwon's food is delicious, (minus the teriyaki set Justin had one time which was burn and tasted like coal..). However the ladies working there have the death stare!
It's so intimidating to ask for anything, they aren't exactly welcoming. Not to mention they collect their tip and don't ask if you want change.. which I think is a bit rude, because I was going to give them the tip anyways, but most places ask you if you'd like your change back.
So, service wise, 2/10. Food wise, depending on what you get, 8/10. The food is actually pretty good, portions are big, and if you can't finish it, they give you takeout boxes!
They also have a television playing some Korean channel, which, (weirdly enough, on the day we went) had accompanying Spanish subtitles...??
I found a lot of the customers to be chinese- even the ladies running the restaurant spoke both Korean and Chinese!
It gets rather loud sometimes, but I had a great time with Justin there!
After eating spicy rice cakes, which are sold out of a kind of food-stall, and taiyaki also from the same stall, we went into the little centre to eat (there was so much snow outside and it was cold), and we sat by the fountain and talked.
Next we went to a cute cafe called Soban, which besides having a really cute interior, has a really nice view if you come later on at night (7:00pm-9:00pm or later). We had the Taro Cookie Slush (mmmmmm!) and we ordered one of their waffles, which came with strawberries, kiwis, chocolate sauce and vanilla and chocolate icecream all dusted with powdered sugar.
It was so delicious! Too bad the waffle and drink were so huge I couldn't eat lots because of all that we ate beforehand!
The service here was really nice! The person that served us was a very nice Korean girl who even helped us by telling us what the yuumiest things on the menu were, so, service here gets an 8/10, the food also gets an 8/10!
I feel like I ate so much that day, but it was so delicious! Thank you for taking me out baby!~<3
